I have always loved our Dyson upright vacuum cleaner but this past December I fell hard for Dyson….like real hard. Two of their products have made our life so much easier and will rock your world if you give them a try.
First up, something that you would totally expect from a company known for it’s vacuum cleaners…
The Dyson V8 Total Clean + Cordless Vacuum. Remember the Dust Buster that we had back in the 80’s and 90’s? They were terrible. They barely had any suction and were only able to tackle small spills. This is no Dust Buster ya’ll. It hangs up in a closet or garage always charging and is ready to tackle the pounds of Cheerios that hit our floor on a daily basis.A 6lb dog can only do so much. Enter the Dyson V8 Total Clean + Cordless Vacuum. We use this ALL DAY LONG. Now, anytime we have a spill, it’s up in seconds.
Where to get it: I purchased ours through Costco because their model comes with a bunch of great attachments and a car charger making the the smaller handheld portion a great addition to your road trip packing list. Bed Bath and Beyond takes the 20% off coupons Dyson Vacuums and Amazon always has good deals. The V7’s start as low as $300. This is a great option if you’d like to save some money, just keep in mind earlier models hold less battery charge.
Second, a product you would likely not expect from Dyson…
A Valentines gift better than chocolate or flowers…the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer. It will literally blow you away! See what I did there? While it comes with a hefty price tag, it is definitely worth it! Think of how much money we spend on our hair: color, cuts, products…etc. The Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer uses Intelligent Heat Control and Powerful Air Flow to keep from damaging your hair. I was introduced to this dryer earlier last year by my hair stylist. Each time I left, I was so impressed with how my hair felt afterwards but wasn’t sure the $400 price tag was worth it. So this past Christmas, you can guess what the only thing on my wish list was. Thank you Santa! Since I started using it, I keep having people ask me what I’m doing differently with my hair. The only thing that has changed is the hair dryer. The best part is that after having my third child, I now have a weird stubborn section of hair on the back of my head that doesn’t want to dry straight, but with the smoothing attachment and a round brush, I am able to finally get it straight without having to use a styling tool afterwards. Sold!
What’s Included: Mine came with three great attachments. Two for smoothing and one diffuser. Also, if you purchase from Dyson.com certain colors come with a beautiful travel box to keep it in. It comes with a 2 year warranty and 30 day money back guarantee.
Additional purchases: If you are going to spend this much on a dryer, definitely spend the extra $50 to Dyson Stand. It make the experience of using this hair dryer that much more wonderful. With all the parts attaching to the dryer and the stand magnetically, you will be super organized. No more constant digging through your drawer and under your sink searching for the attachments.
Where You Can Get It: Unfortunately Bed Bath Beyond does not accept coupons for this product. According to the store, because the product is still new, Dyson does not allow for them to charge less than the regulated price….yet. It looks like the two best deals right now are at Dyson.com for $399 including a free travel case and at QVC, they are offering a bundle also for $399 on QVC (though, I’ve never purchased anything through them) including a couple of Living Proof products and a Round Brush from Olivia Garden.
Let me know what you think of either of the products!
